Can it get the task done, and what might it cost?
AssistantBenchmark reports Muse scored 6.9/10 for travel, with approximately 16 minutes from restarted checkout to confirmation, excluding an earlier failed attempt. Separately, the estimator models per-stage costs for seven personal-agent tasks. These are different kinds of evidence, not a measured cost-per-success result.

Seven tasks, end to end
Flight booking, restaurant reservation, meeting scheduling, inbox triage, online purchase, local-services quotes and research-only trip planning. Each task traces parse, context, discovery, execution, approval, verification and a stated recovery reserve, with per-stage token counts, search queries and browser minutes labeled as assumptions.
Observed outcomes and limits
The published Muse log includes human payment setup, account reconnection, payment approval, a reported ticket confirmation, failed date and seat changes, and cancellation with an expected refund. Individual checkpoint timestamps and independent airline or bank verification are unavailable. Miso's approximately three minutes excludes traveler-profile setup and involves a human travel service. Muse's general coverage is eight of fifteen dimensions, not a travel success rate. The benchmark anchors only the flight scenario.
Three separate cost scenarios
Compare an API/connector path, a browser path and a Muse scenario for each task. Model, search, screenshot, safety and hosted-VM costs use the guide's October 18, 2026 rate snapshot and explicit workload assumptions. AssistantBenchmark's interaction log does not supply metered tokens, browser usage, infrastructure costs or Meta's internal bill. Benchmark scores and times do not change these formulas.
Verify the booking, not just the payment
Approval binds itinerary, amount, merchant and fare conditions. Use an idempotency key, reconcile after timeouts, and check ticket or PNR status before declaring completion. The reference $1,480 airfare is excluded from agent operating costs.
